The Best Restaurants in Madison Park, Seattle

Madison Park is one of the best areas of Seattle to relax, hang out, and spend some time outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown. It’s also a great area to get some good food. Don’t miss out on these top restaurants in Madison Park.

Bamboo Thai Cuisine

Casual and consistent Thai restaurant. Patio seating in summer. Take-out and delivery available via GrubHub.

  • Address: 1841 42nd Ave. East
  • Phone: (206) 324-6467

Cactus Madison Park

Southwestern/Mexican. It is good, and casual, but not particularly “Seattle.” For this genre, you can likely get equal to this quality elsewhere in the country. They also have locations in South Lake Union and West Seattle.

  • Address: 4220 East Madison St.
  • Phone: (206) 324-41410

Hanok

A small and casual Korean restaurant with a handful of Japanese-inspired dishes. The food is excellent (we recommend the dolsot bibimbap) and the service is friendly. Open for lunch Tuesday-Saturday, and dinner from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Closed on Sunday.

  • Address: 4021 East Madison St.
  • Phone: (206) 402-3847

Park Place at Madison Park

A new addition to the Madison Park dining scene. The main dining room features white table linens, while a more casual atmosphere can be found in the lounge upstairs. Service is friendly and the patio and deck offer great views of Lake Washington. The menu is Italian and features a variety of pasta and meat dishes, as well as pizzas.

It is open for lunch on weekdays. The lounge has a happy hour Monday-Friday 2 p.m. 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. Closed on Sunday.

  • Address: 1927 43rd Ave. East
  • Phone: (206) 453-5867

The Independent Pizzeria

Very small hand-crafted pizza restaurant. Truly excellent quality, and good salads to boot. The only problem is the oven is small and it can be a long wait for your pizza. In addition, if you go on the later side (7:30 or later), call ahead to make sure they haven’t run out of dough. (Seriously.) The restaurant accepts reservations for groups of 4 or more.

  • Address: 4235 East Madison St.
  • Phone: (206) 860-6110
