Welcome to Thomas Lodge “Boston”! You will feel right at home in this beautiful, renovated 2 bedroom condo located on a quiet street. The bright, open floor plan invites you to relax indoors or enjoy some fresh air on the spacious covered balcony.

Each of our homes has been decorated to pay homage to a meaningful facet of our lives. This home (Thomas Lodge “Boston”) has a Boston theme, with tasteful and playful decor celebrating the years your host called Beantown home.

KITCHEN
This open concept space has a great kitchen with modern countertops and stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, oven, electric range and microwave. The kitchen counter also has three bar stools for seating in the kitchen area.

DINING / LIVING
The kitchen flows directly to the living and dining area which features a dining table for 4 (expands to accommodate more), a wall-mounted television with a robust DirecTV package and DVD player.

The comfortable couch doubles as a queen size sleeper sofa (with the highest end sofa bed mattress on the market).

The living room has French doors leading to a large balcony (over 100 square feet) with a beautiful view of Madison Valley.

LAUNDRY
There is also a full-size stackable washer and dryer right in the hallway of your home.

BEDROOMS
Bedroom 1: Off the hall from the kitchen is the smaller of two bedrooms to your left. It is furnished with a queen size bed and has direct access to the large balcony.

Bedroom 2: The master bedroom is at the end of the hall. It is furnished with a *king size bed* (our guests often comment how comfortable it is!) and nightstand, plus a dresser with mirror. There is a spacious closet. The master bedroom also features an en suite full bathroom. Both bedrooms have plenty of natural light from the windows, but shades provide adequate darkness for lazy mornings sleeping in.

BATHROOMS
Bathroom 1: The renovated full bathroom with a tub is located just across the hall.
Bathroom 2: En suite bathroom located in the master suite (BR 2).

OUTDOOR SPACE
The living room and bedroom 1 has French doors leading to a large balcony with a fantastic view!

ACCESS
You enter into the building and into your home with a code of your choice that will be programmed into the electronic locks...no cumbersome organizing for a key exchange or concerns about arriving and departing at odd hours.

You will have access to the entire home, including garage parking for one car (and plentiful free street parking for additional vehicles).

AIR CONDITIONING
Air conditioning is a real rarity in Seattle. This home is equipped with a window air conditioner in the master bedroom.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
Your hosts live just down the block. We are here to welcome you and help you with any of your needs during your stay. We are happy to offer you advice for sightseeing, restaurant recommendations, and even some budget saving tips and coupons.

Do you plan to cook during your stay? By special advanced arrangement (depending on availability), we will fulfill your grocery list and have your home stocked for your arrival.

We have 1 through 8 bedroom homes, and everything in between. All of our homes are in a very compact area... perfect for large groups, wedding guests, reunions, corporate retreats, etc.

All homes are fully furnished to high standards and feature all the comforts our guests have come to love.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
This home is central to everything Madison Valley has to offer: great restaurants, parks, hiking, supermarkets, day spas, and more. Your hosts made Madison Valley their home when first settling in Seattle... and haven't looked back since.

We love walking the streets of this neighborhood and we will gladly suggest fun walks depending on your interests. Stroll to the beach at Madison Park. Walk by multi-million dollar estates. Discover hidden neighborhood gems such as the farmhouse with horses in the yard and the home that doubles as an eclectic art studio and antique truck gallery. Take a walk through the fabled Arboretum to Lake Washington.

Once you have worked up your appetite, enjoy the countless restaurants that Madison Valley ("Little Paris") has to offer. In addition to French gems, try our favorite tapas restaurant or the best Japanese food east of Tokyo. Take your morning coffee in one of numerous bakeries. Or opt for Thai, pan-Asian, craft pizza, Tex-Mex or more.

Our home provides easy access to Downtown (Pike Place Market, Seattle Art Museum, Seattle Great Wheel), Seattle Center (Space Needle, Chihuly Glass Museum), South Lake Union (MOHAI), University of Washington, and Capitol Hill. All are accessible by car, bus (numerous bus lines a few blocks from home), or for the adventurous, by foot.

If all of this touring (and eating) has you tired, pamper yourself with a visit to a day spa or nail salon. There are several of each within a few blocks of home and we are happy to point you in the right direction.

Extra guest fee: $25 per night for each guest above 4

Discounts are available for stays over 30 days

*Summer holidays include Memorial Day, July 4, Seafair, and Labor Day. Graduation weekend is priced above these dates and will require a 4 night minimum stay.
